I started sketching uncle David during covid when we had to be far apart and couldn’t hear each other talking. He loved to be the subject and would inspect each one when done… “Good.” We would mostly listen to records while sketching, and from time to time he’d casually tell me about songs he played guitar on back in the day. Mr.Bojangles was one of my favourites.
